Day 14 - Tuesday, July 5th

Finally, today we are going home. Today we took the airport limousine bus  a short walk in the rain from our hotel. We took the bus for about 30 minutes and had lunch at the airport. Osaka security was annoying as they did not speak English and had us empty half our stuff out of our bags so they could scan the bags. Then they wanted to frisk my mom and she had no idea what they wanted to do. She almost took her clothes off for them because they did not understand English. Then we arrived by plane to Tokyo and rushed through the airport to return our phone we rented and make our flight to Vancouver. We had to go through security after we dropped off the phone and they confiscated one of my mother's juices that she had because she is diabetic and needs them in case she has a reaction in the airport. Narita airport in Tokyo has nice shops but we did not have time to look at them. As soon as we arrived on the Air Canada plane to Vancouver it was a welcome site for sore eyes as it was nice and familiar with a good inflight entertainment system. We then cleared customs in Vancouver where we discovered one of our bags was missing a tag so we had to tell the airport people so that they could make sure it went to Edmonton our final destination. The flight home was nice and we were home from the Edmonton airport around 4pm.
